Medical Superintendent of the Hospital, that most of the eases of paralysis were beginning to clear up. and he anticipated that, within a month or two. quite a number would he hack to their normal state of health. The beneficial effects of the serum treatment are now becoming very evident. Dr Telford added that if no objections are raised by* the parents, postmortem examinations are made of the bodies of the patients who died from infantile paralysis at Christchurch Hjspititl, and in this way much valuable knowledge has been gained by the medical officers.
