MOTOR MISHAP. AUCKLAND, February 18. A motor mishap possessing unusual features occurred in Wellesley Street at three o’clock yesterday afternoon. A postal collecting van drew up at the end of Lome Street, and the driver collected the mail from the post office. While lie was inside signing for tho mail, the van started on its own, and turning practically half a circle it mounted the pavement and crashed into a millinery shop occupied by Alls Woods with a large front of plate glass window and a side window. The glass windows are insured. The van sustained practically no damage. AR BJTRATION COURT. CHRISTCHURCH February 18.

The Arbitration Court this morning adjourned consideration of the journalists disputes both local and Dominion, with a strong recommendation to the parties to hold a further conference.
