DOM INION NOTIFICATIONS. WELLINGTON, February 17. The following further notifications of cases of infantile paralysis were received by the Health Department for the 24 hours ending 9 a.m. to-day : Wellington City, none; Taihape, one; Waimarno, one; Kaipunga, one; Ilawern. one; Palmerston North, one; Levin, two; Otaki, one; Plim.merton, one; Mount Albert, two; Grey Lynn, one; Matiere one; Tnumarunui, one; Whangarei, one; Hobson County, one; Halswell, one; Lauriston, one; Ashburton, one; Timaru. one; Orari, one; StKilda (Otago) one.

Three eases of infantile paralysis were reported in South Canterbury today. One is a Amy of two years in Timaru. Two eases are in the country. a man aged 21, at Orari, and one at Sutherland’s.

CASE IN WAI MAR I NO. OHAKUXE, February 17.

A girl, J. Cullen, 2.j years old, has been transferred to the Wanganui Hospital suffering from infantile paralysis from Wniniarino. She had been spending a holiday there. The case has been traced to contact with a ease in Wanganui. The child had been- in Waimarino for ten days before tho disease developed. This is the first case in the AYaimariito distiict.

RIFLE MEETING POSTPONED. WELLINGTON, February 18. The Minister of Defence announces that Cabinet lias considered the question of permitting the National Rifle Association which was to he held in the second week in March, but has decided, on account of the infantile paralysis epidemic, that the meeting must lie postponed.
