The “Athletic New’s” Rugby League representative asked several of tho All Blacks whether there was any likelihood of any of the team joining the Rugby League teams here or in New Zealand. The answer was an emphatic negative. They were asked how many ■of the 1905 Seccders had made good, whereas they said that those who remained loyal had resumed their old business relations and had derived a greater benefit.
THE MAORI’S TRIBUTE. CHRISTCHURCH, January 28. At a gathering of the Maoris at Tuahiwi it was decided to open a fund for the purpose of making a presentation to the native members of the All Blacks team. After an address by Dick Tniaroa of the 1887 team £25 was subscribed.
