ALL BLACKS.

NAAIKS OF I’LAYKBS. R I’G BY FNION’S RKQGKST. lIY TT-XKOUATII —IMIESS ASSN., COTVHICIIIT. WKLUMiTOX, October !>. Teh dissatisfaction which has been created in Uujd»y circles through the non-appearance of tbe All Black’s personnel in the cabled reports ol matches was referred to at a meeting ol the New Zealand llugby l nion last night. Outlining the result ol a deputation which waited on the New Zealand Press Association, Air 11,.I 1 ,. \\ vlie explained that -Mr A tael; had undertaken to arrange to have the names cabled, and, with the exception of the match against Leicestershire, the names ol the team had duly appeared. “The Press Association has done all that is possible," added the speakei. and they were as surprised as we were that the names had not come. It was explained to me that it was a matter of impossibility to get a lull cabled report , as 'the cables were fully charged, and if fuller accounts wore sent the evenings papers would miss the matches altogether. We waul the team, as it greatly helps us to miilerstnml the reports. Mr W’vlie said that the Press Association had given instructions for the cabling of information relating to tbe doings of the team off the fu'ld. Members generally found no tnult with tbe cabled reports of tbe various matches, but were insistent m tbeir advocacy of tbe inclusion of tbe team. U was decided to cable to Air Dean (the manager) asking him to anv iniurics or serious eases of illness among tbe Mayors, and to urge on the Press representatives at Home the necessity for cabling the team with each report.
