The MnUeolti crime is arousing ire among .Socialists all over Europe. At Geneva there was a stormy public protest meeting of 200!), including the Labour Cunfonice delegates, representing Britain, France. Holland, Germany, and Belgium, who made allusion to the Fascist regime. The speeches provoked cries of "Assassins! Bandits!”. The tumult wtts accompanied by the explosion "To the guillotine”. Finally, the meeting curried a resolution demanding the freedom ol Italian workers.
At Paris there were disorderly scenes following it Communist protest meeting, including many Italians. When Ute meeting concluded, the 'participants encountered a pint ossion of local Society Hands, playing, which they mis look for a counter demonstration. A free light ensued. The police then intore veiled. The lighting became fierce ami disutilities were indicted on both political parties before the police cleared the streets.
ANOTHER ARREST. ROME, June 22. Rossi, one of the suspects, has surrendered to the police.
Fillipelli and Mniinelli, who wore arrested, were examined by a .Magistrate. They contended the instructions were exceeded. They had ordered Matleotli to lie kidnapped, hut not murdered.
The offorts of the police to find Matteotti’s body still prove futile.
