ANTI-JAP LULLING. NEW YORK, June 22. There hits been several violent crimes against the Japanese in California during the past few days, which some newspapers are inclined to accept as evidence of an anti-Japanese outbreak. The bodies of two well-dressed Japs were found on it lonely seashore road near Sail Pedro, having been shot from an ambush. The bodies were horriblv iittitilntod. The victims have not been identified and there is no elite to the perpetrators. A second incident was at Los Angelos. where a Japanese salesman was dragged from his motor car liv a party of men ami women and threatened with tar and feathers unless he immediately left the district. Other demonstrations against the Japanese are reported.
