THE WELSH FIXTURES. [by tkleghapii—run ntESS association.] WELLINGTON, June IS Advice received by mail from England states that file Welsh Rugby Union Committee, at :t meeting at C’ardiif, allocated fixtures in connection with the tour of the Now Zealand team as follows : 2!)th September—New Zealand v. Swansea. 2nd October—New Zealand v. Newport. 22ml November—v. Cardiff. 20th November—v. Wales (International at Swansea.) 27th December—v. IJanelly. The above dates differ slightly from those set out by the English Rugby Union in its allocation of fixtures to Wales. It is considered likely that the Swansea and Newport matches may be played on tho 27th September (Saturday), and Ist October (Wednesday) respectively. SOCCER. SYDNEY, June 18. Sydney metropolitan soccer reps defeated the Canadians by six goals to two.
