Dowell and Heenan (Secretary). The Hariluui Club notified that they did not intend taking part in the proposed new senior competition, and also withdrawing their junior team from the junior competition.—Received. No replies to enquiries were received from the Lake Brunner Sub-divi-sion or Manager of Nelson Pines Sawmilling Cov.. re J. McEnnney. A lengthy discussion took place in connection with the senior competition. It was resolved that no senior fixture take place on Saturday next, find that the itinior fixture. Excelsiors v. Kiwi lie played a ,T p.m. It was resolved to ask Messrs Searle and G. McKay and two other members of the "ITariliari Club to come to Hokitika on Saturday next and meet the Union at a conference, in the interests of ilie Senior competition, at S p.m. ft was also resolved to invite tlio Captain and Serreary of the Excelsior, Kiwi and Kokntalii Clubs to attend the. conference. AUSTRALIANS. CHRISTCHURCH, June 18. The Australian Universities League loot hall team played the Christchurch Mansis Club to-day. The match ended in a draw, 13 points calm. The weather was line, ami there were nearly 4000 spectators present to see the game.
