Houston and Co., leport: —Tin- annual autumn sale of tat and store stock was held at the \\ ataroa Sale A'ards yesterday, the total yarding being about 400 head of cattle, 1,0 sheep, our entry comprising 11. head of cattle and 91 sheep. There was a huge attendance of buyers and competition was very keen lor all lines olleiej a full c'len-rnnee being made at verv satisfactory prices. There were some splendid lines of heretord outlie from far south, particularly those of Air E. LX Cron, most of which were fat, and were yarded in excellent condition, and realised prices in advance of those ruling at A rah urn. Yard- at present, three- prime heavy bullocks making the excellent, price of £lt Z- lid. We sold on account of ALes.-rs Gibb Bros. 91 tvo-tootli wethers at 275; on account of Afessrs A. H. Kggeling and Sou 10 ,3-year steers at C 7 19s, (i fat heifers at £l> 2s Oil, 3 store cows at co 8s; on account of Messrs Harris Bros. 4 2.1 year steers at 05 2s (kl, 11 fill cows at 05 Ills, 5 forward heifers at 05; on account of Air K. C. Cron 1.3 fat bullocks at £9 ss, 11 fat heifers £ls, 14 do. at £(> 10s, 10 forward steers oi years at £0 15s, 10 at £5 12s Gd, 8 forward heifers at 4 Ids, 3 fat bullocks at £l4 2s Gd; on account of Alessrs Helm Bros 1 springer at £5 7s Gd, 1 at 5 25 s. 1 at- £lO.
