INDIANS AND EMPIRE.
LONDON, Get. 31. The Imperial Conference on Wednesday was largely occupied with the consideration of committee reports and the Indian status question. \\ ith regard to the latter, the Indian delegates are well satisfied with the Australian and New Zealand side of the problem. They recognised their right to exclude further admissions, and felt they could rely on fair and honourable treatment to those who already have permanent domicile in the Pacific Dominions. Thus it is only with South Africa that iho Indian grievance remains acute.
