Those who quarrel with the ea; ital-i-t system —not with its faults merely. hut with the system—are quarrelling with the principle "Inch lias enabled man to make lii.s life on earth less hazardous and mote comfortable than it was when he began his career. Capital represents uneonstimed wealth, and is the product of thrift, intellect, and industry. It would cease to exist if thrift, intellect, and industry were to be denied their natural reward.
