WOMAN’S ESCAPE.
LONDON, July 31. During a. severe thunderstorm at Retfosd, Nottinghamshire, yesterday, lightning struck a house occupied by Air and Airs" .Scarborough. The hnirpains in Alls Scarborough's hair wore twisted, hut she was unharmed. Her husband w as slightly burned. Lightning set fire to- the roof of the County Court buildings at Bury yesterady afternoon, but the flames were soon put out, and the business of.the court wap proceeded with.
