AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. IRELAND’S ENTRY. GENEVA, Sept. 10. The Assembly of the League unanimously voted admission of tlm Irish Free State to the League of Nations. Tlie result was greeted with prolonged cheers. President Cosgrove expressed thanks on behalf of the Dail Eircanu. He emphasised that Hie Free State was an element for peace. When the Trish Free State delegation was invited to enter the_ League Assembly, Sir James Allen (Now Zealand) was the first to shake hands ami welcome them as the representatives of a sister Dominion. Y WATERFORD TROUBLE. LONDON, Sept. 10. Armed men in motor cars are terrorising Waterford district, burning labourers’ cottages. Several inhabitants narrowly escaped burning to death.
