[iIT TELEORAPH —PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.] REPORT FROM WELLINGTON. WELLINGTON, July 31. The Hospital lias IS cases of ’flu, seven pneumonic. Four nurses art 1 sufferers of a mild type. Tlie Medical Superintendent considers the cases are increasing but. nothing to bo alarmed at, and it has not reached the dimensions of the outbreak in 1929. let alone tlie big epidemic of 1918. Reports from large employers vary. The Postal Department lias a good many hands away, but the railways are not interferral with. One firm with a staff of 500 never had more than 15 off’ duty. There is little doubt, most of the so-called “till” here is merely ordinary colds, due to tho continuous cold weather and drizzling rain.
