ERHARDT CASE.
PRINCESS SENTEXCED. AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. BERLIN, July 21. Princess Hohenlohe was sentenced to six months on the charge of perjury over Captain Erhardt. She received the sentence with great emotion.
THE JUDGE'S REMARKS. A SEQUEL. (Received this day at 8.30 a.m.) BERLIN, July 25. When sentencing Princess Ilohenlohe, the Judge pointed out that the trial had proved beyond douht the close intimacy between the Princess and the escapee. Political offences such ns the leaders of the organisation might commit had not any relation to personal honour, but Erhardt had committed a mean trick in perjuring himself and persuading the Princess to do likewise. A .sequel to the imprisonment of Princess Hohenlohe is the arrest of Baron Busch J.ohe, and i.-e Baroness who is an Englishwoman, charged with being concerned in effecting the escape of Erhardt. The couple were completely surprised hut did not slubuiit without a struggle.
