At a meeting of the Committee held at Oroymouth last evening a request was received from Afarlhorough Union for the West Coast reps, to pin v their reps, ai Blenheim whilst on the Seddon Shield tour. It was decided that, owing Lo insufficient notice and the near approach of the Canterbury rep. visit here, I lie request could net he granted. It was decided that a smoke concert hi' tendered the Canterbury and West Coast rep. teams on the evening ol August 8, after their match here. -\n application from \\ . J. Sherlock for readmission to the Rugby code was received, and it was decided to recommend it favourably to the N.Z.R.U. Air .!. F. Wilson was appointed manager of the Scddon Shield team, and Air T. .Mclntosh manager of the 11. Grey rep. team to play Westland I reps, at Hokitika on Saturday next. It was decided that failing AYestlaiul Suit-Union accepting August 4th. as the date for the return mateii with Grey, the ordinary dub fixtures be proceeded with, the proceeds going towards Charitv SafurdvA.
