For lighting purposes the Inverted Incandescent (las Light is admittedly the cheapest, and now that it can be fitted with automatic lighters with switches placed in handy positions, it can be used with the greatest convenience. Gas can lie depended upon always. It has been with you for -50 years—an old friend of proved service. Celebrated oculists have on many occasions testified to the excellence of the soft mellow light given by incandescent. gas burners, which lias no injurious effect upon the eyes, as is the case with some other forms of artificial light. The local gas is of extremely good quality, and is a. splendid rending light. It is a well-known fact with incandescent- gas light the most delicate tints can he detected and matched. Gas light- is artificial day-light, as 'loiciti ta gas reveals nightly. The air currents set up by gas burners ensure excellent ventilation throughout the house, and consequently a gas-lighted house is always healthy. Gas gives all round comfort and economy, and should he in every household—the over-ready servant and friend to the family. . Those who value their eyesight will follow the advice of eminent specialists and use gas for artificial lighting.
