From Naval Office, Wellington. calling attention for recruits for the Navy and asking that poster he placed m a conspicuous place. Received. From Marine Department. Mellington. Stating triennial election for Harbour Hoards is to be held on April 26th next.—Received.
From Acting Harbour Master repottinS the bar in good condition, running in a north westerly direction and asking for a new green light on the South works.— Deceived. The Chairman moved that by virtue of the Hokitika Harbour Hoard Act an additional charge of 10 per rent he added to all rates struck and levied for the vear ending Sept. 30th.. 1922, if not paid on or before the 28th. day of March, 1923.—Carried unanimously. .Accounts amounting to £lO os were passed for payment. This concluded the business and the meeting terminated.
