“Rekohm’s” Alktiiods Rkcallkii Air Massey was using the extreme Labour Party as a bogey to gain his own ends— the same extremsits whom lie used in 1911 to oust Sir Joseph Ward. Most of them would remember what Air -Massey had clone at the Grey Lvnn election, when Air Payne defeated the Hon G. Fowlds. He requested the Reformers to vote for Labour! For the benefit of young electors, Air Langford (Liberal candidate for Temuka), said he would read an extract from the “Dominion'' newspaper, which was run in the interests of Mr Alassey’s party. This showed that Reformers were urged to vote for J,a hour when a Liberal and a Labour candidate went to the second ballot.
