lUSTHALIAN ANT, N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. LONDON. May 20. Rain interfered with cricket during the past week, hut there were excellent performances with hath and hall. Parkin, Durston and Cook have been mowing down w ickets in a very deadly fashion.
Middlesex is delighted that Ucndren has returned in his best form. Essex made lot and 158 against Notts, who scored 2.50 for nine wickets and 03 for two.
Kent with 1.55 and 273 for four wickets (Woolley 102 not out), drew with Somersett, who made 332.
Yorkshire, with 1-17 and 31-1 for foui wickets heat Derby shir*, who made 13” anil 30. Waddinglon took 11 wickets for .57. . ,
Gloucester scored 22/ and !L against Middlesex, who made 151 and 12-1 for seven wickets.
