AND N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION. DAVIS CUP. SYDNEY, Fob. 25. The Australasian Tennis Associotion meeting decided to issue a challenge to U.S.A. for the Davis Cup. Brookes, Patterson and Peach were appointed a selection committee. A sub-committee was appointed to frame regulations fur the Wilding competition to be conducted on Davis Cup lines, open to teams from States and New Zealand. It was decided that New Zealand be regarded as the holder of the Cup, the first challenge tie to be played in the Dominion.
