The Cycle Race
The Hokitika Cycling Club opened its season last night with a 2-Mile Youths i ace which was watched with greatest interest by a .large number of spectators. Nine competitors faced the starter, Mr CL Adamson. The handicapper, Mr W. Blacknmn was unable to attend so Messrs Keller, McGregor and Shaw fulfilled the responsible position. The results were as follows. D. Haussmann 30yds. Ist. D. Adamson, 30yds. 2nd. W. Gooch 50yds. 3rd.
