CUSTRALIAN AND N.Z, CAULK ASSOCIATION, ORANGEMEN PROTEST. " LONDON, Aug. 29. Twenty thousand Orangemen, six thousand from Belfast, demonstrated at Nowtownard, County Down, and passed a resolution of disapproval at the British Government conferring with rebel leaders. The motion went on:—We have no confidence in any undertakings these criminals may enter into, and believo no good will result from such fdImvship, and call upon Britain to deal resolutely with the rebels cruel, treacherous warfare. Mr Archd'ale M.P., addressed the demonstration. A REPORT. LONDON, Aug. 29. It is reported that if negotiations are resumed at Downing Street, Arthur G-iffiths (Republican Foreign Minister) b’rtend of De Valera, will head the Sinn Fein delegations.
