HOKITIKA BOXING ASSOCIATION.

A meeting ot the Committee ot the Hokitika Boxing Association was held last evening, when there were present Messrs F. McGregor (chair), G. Shaw, D. R. Dowell, J. J. Morgan, N. W, Tulloch, E. W. Heenan and C. J. P Sellers The absence of Mr W. Staveley was apologised for. The minutes ol the previous meeting were read and confirmed. Nominations totalling 33 for the forthcoming tourney were received, and it was decided to cut out the novice and heavy-weight classes. It was deeide'd to have a special put on leaving Greymouth at 5.30 p.ujg and returning at 10.15 p.m. The President was deputed to wait on the business people with a view of having their premises closed at 8 p.m. It was decided that all competitors (should weigh in at 4 p.m. Various other details in reference to the tour. ne v were arranged for. The meeting terminated with the usual vote to tbs chair.
