WEST LAND SUB- UNION. The weekly meeting of the Referees Association was held last evening. Mr M. Houston presided. Present —J. Conning, D. It. Dowell, T. Giloolly, W. Wilson, L Hughes, and E. W. Heenan (lion. Sec.). The minutes of previous meeting were read and confirmed. Correspondence was received from New Zealand Referees Association notice of Conference in Wellington, May 27 th. Mr L. Hills was appointed delegate to represent this Association at the Conference. L. Hughes and R. Moore were elected members of the Association. J. T. Irvine complained of the mixed assortment of jerseys worn by juniors. All referees supported Mr Irvine’s complaint. and it was resolved to forward complaint on to the Union, Tt was unanimously resolved to pass a vote of thanks to Air M. Wallace for assistance rendered last Saturday. After the appointment of referees for coming matches the meeting closed. 'flic weekly meeting of the Sub-Un-ion was held last evening at 8 p.m. Mr F. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. B. I-laussinan applied for a transfer Omni Kokatahi Juniors to Excelsior Juniors on grounds that lie now resided in Hokitika. The transfer was granted. The Union resolved that no transfers bo granted in junior clubs after June Bth.

Mr Dowell moved a motion that the rule books lx* distributed free of charge to all clubs and to be. left in the secretary’s hands. The motion was carried. Tt was resolved that the rep jerseys he procured from Air Yarrnll and all jerseys to he numbered. The Referees Association requested Union to insist the junior teams wear (coloured hands to distinguish teams and the colours alloted by the Union were as follows and have to lx* worn over one shoulder as a Sash. Kiwis—AYhite ; Excelsiors—Red ; Ross —Navy Blue; Rimu—Green; Kokatahi —Yellow. It was resolved that the competition points range ns follows. —Win 2 points Draw 1 point. REFEREES’ REPORT. Kiwis v. Mr Cutbnsh resigned office as Ground Official.

Air Dowell proposed Air Carter for the office. Seconded by Mr ,T. J. Breeze and carried unanimously.

Owing to Kokatqhi team travelling to Ross on Saturday and also Rimu Juniors it was moved that an effort be made to have the Rimu v. Ross Juniors match played on the Rimu (round as it was vacant and that.Rimu Po made to travel to Ross when the teams meet again.

Any Club requiring rule books are au thorjsed to get in touch with the Sec.
