POLLARD’S PICTURES.
BIG AIITCH LEWIS
To-night in the Princess Theatre Pollards will screen ‘'Nine Tenths of the Law” a picture marked by the Censor, more specially recommended for adult audiences. Big A!itch Lewis, supported by an exceptional cn.sT, is seen in his lavoiirite role, that of a French Canadian woodsman, in “'Nine Tenths of the Law.” The story is one of big themes, and lias a wonderful appeal. There are drnmtic moments in this drama that are gripping in their intensity. and no amount of praise can adequately, describe the work of Air Lewis as Lenenu. His sympathetic handling of the role, the extraordinary insight he lias into the character of the French Canadian, make his performance a- memorable - one, and one that recalls his previous success in "The Barrier.” ALL STAR VAUDEVILLE. On next AVodnesday and Thursday evenings Pollards will present- ill the Princess Theatre, the all star A’andeville entertainers in their artistic and musical entertainment. The ‘‘All-Star Vaudeville” entertainers, consist of star successes from Fuller’s Circuit in New Zealand. Aliss Eva Dale, known as the girl with the golden voice and dainty
gowns, is a singer of repute. A unique entertainment is given by the world’s hoy entertainer Edgar Bcynon, who will ircsent his original act, a vaudeville review. Louis Blow is recognised as :he leading banjoist of Australasia and natrons already know and can appreciate the musical powers of the brothers. Colin and John Campbell with the English concertina.
On AVodnesday evening next the vaudeville will he supported by the
