LONDON, March 21

Sir Hajtnar Greenwood announced that the total weekend casualties were ten military and five police killed, eleven miltary and five police wounded. Seven rebels were killed, seven wounded and six unwounded rebels taken. Three civilians were wounded in an ambush in Dublin.

LONDON, March 21

Some Irish Republicans attacked a train at Headford Junction in Tverry. A tight ensued, and resulted in the killing of an officer and six men of the Royal Fusilers, and the wounding of twelve others. There was also a.civilian killed and two wounded. The fight lasted for 50 minutes. Two constables (McKenna and Campbell) were, shot dead, one at Falcafragh and the other at Mullinabone. The attack at Headford occurred in a cutting. Troops to the number of ;)0 detrained. They suffered severely. The survivors withstood the attackers until a second train arrived, bearing reinforcements.

It is believed the Republicans sustained a number of casualties. One dead body was found.
