SCULLING.
austkautAV and n.Jti’ Cable association. HARRY’S VIEWS. LONDON, Fob. 10. Harry, in a letter to the “Daily Telegraph” says: A rust’s claim to the sculling championship by default does not concern me, but before he considers the world title again he should look to honours in bis own country. There are several men in 'Australia who think they can beat him, and persistently challenged him. T had a long innings, and think it best to I‘etirc as champion. That Arnst should claim the title in oonscqWrice will not be tolerated by any section of sporting men. 1 suggest tluit the championship be decided in each country where’ sculling is encouraged, that is, in England, Canada, Australasia, and America, and the champions be then brought together. This would he a great boom in a great sport.
