GREYMOUTH, Feb. 12

Play til the West Coast Bowling tournament was brought to a conclusion yesterday. The weather which was threatening in the morning cleared early and the day was again beautifully line, the elements being particularly kind for the three days. The semi-finals were played in the morning and the finals in the afternoon, a highly successful tournament being brought to a conclusion about 5 p.m. The play in the finals was excellent, and the largo number of onlookers were constantly applauding the players for particularly good pieces of play.

The tournament was excellently run and went off without a, hitch, proving very enjoyable. The hospitality of the lady supporters of the Grey Club was of the most generous nature, and was greatly appreciated by the visitors, and added in no small measure to the general success. RINKS. The final was played between Westport (Harkness, Rose, Cameron and Blaxall 5.,) and Hokitika (Thompson, (substitute for Braddon), AV. AVilson, J. If. Wilson and Haider 5.,) Westport winning by 22 to 14. PAIRS.

The final of the pairs was played between Grey (Christie and Blackwood), and Lyttelton (Sinclair and Henderson), the Grey team proving successful by 22 to 11. BALLINGER RUCKLES.

After the West Coast competitions were finished a match was played for the Ballinger Buckles between the AYest port and Groymouth Clubs. The latter Club previously held the Buckles, Westport won after some exciting play. Both clubs won one rink but Westport had the bettor aggregate.
