DETAILS OF TRAGEDY. (Received this ddjr at 8 a.m.) SYDNEY, Dec 22. Detaile of the'Lindfield tragedy show Mrs Mort, besides a bullet wound is suffering from the effects of poison. It now appears that Dr Tozer for some time was closeted in the drawing room with Mrs Mort, and about noon a lady companion to the latter, hearing a no: resembling shots in’the room went to the door and found it locked. She asked if anything was wrong- and Mrs Mort answered- “No.” About five intho afternoon her mistress called front a bedroom for a glass of water to he left outside the door. Later, when the door was forced she was found unconscious and Tozer sitting dead on a couch, with a revolver on his thigh. The police mention an apparent jealousy as tho motive.
