The coalminers are submitting fresh claims, including a six hour day and minimum weekly wage of £O, or daily of 25s for a five days’ week, the abolition of the contract system, a fortnight’s holiday annually on full pay, abolition of afternoon shift, a voice in the executive and control of industry. Pending the granting of claims, an interim award is sought conceding 25 to 48 per cent. . BASIC WAGE.
