POLISH- RUSSO WAR. WARSAW Sept. 16. Particulars of renewed Polish-Rus-sian fighting are continued in the latest communique, which show the Poles occupied Kovel taking prisoner three thousand, capturing thirty-six guns and a large quantity of material. 1 A STARTLING ALLEGATION.
(Keuter’s Telegram.) (Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, Seuptember 17. The Council of Action intervened ; n the Hon. Lloyd George—Kamenoff recriminatory correspondence, with the extraordinary allegation that the .Prime Minister himself had urged the Council to use its influence on the Russian Government through Kameneff, at m admittedly very critical moment. The Council approached Kameneff several times with this purpose. The only policy the Council ever discussed with Kamenoff was the policy of the Soviet relative to Poland and peace generally.
