The sun Has made her day a golden one, And all the land-locked bays, are lit With beauty’s light to honour it. : In gleam of water, green of trees, The City, Queen of Southern Seas, j Wears all her loveliness and pride ! To see that tall ship take her tide. j North calls to South Head, “Brother, brother, When shall our cliffs see' such another?” Kindling her fires, the Southern Cross Burns brighter for her love and loss. The Cross that shines above the Crown iGuard and companion thee, “Renown !”
