No official intimation is made regarding the informal votes, hut it would not bo surprising to lincl that practically all of them were against the strike-
Information from sources connected with the jockeys themselves indicates that out of 13J jockeys who voted, not more than a dozen wore in favour ol the strike. Indeed, the pro-strikers may number oven loss. So far as the Labour Department is eoncerned, the mutter is now ended under the Aet, whatever the ballot may bo. The jockeys are free to do what they like. One thing certain is that they will not Btrike.
