Mr McAdoo’s friends have announced his willingness to accept nomination. The first stage of the battle will rage round McAdoo, Cox and Palmer. The Democratic Convention opened to-day and threatens' to get out of the leaders hands over prohibition, League of Nations and Irish, questions.
