N.Z.D NTAL ASSOCIATION

WEST COAST BRANCH

A meeting of the West Coast branch of the New Zealand Dental Association was held in Greymouth last evening, and was fully attended. The President, hr 11. H. Richmond (Greymouth) occupied the chair. An apology was received for the absence of Mr K. Petrie. Formal business was disposed of. Mr H. M. Coulson (Hokitika) .vas elected President of the branch and representative of the 1 N.Z.D.A., and Mr W. E; Reynolds re-elected Hon. Secretary for the ensuing term.

A com m uni cation was received from the Secretary of t-ie N.Z.D.A., stating that at the recent conference, held in, Wellington, a minimum scale of fees bad been fixed for the whole of the Dominion. After considerable discussion, in which it was pointed out that this scale was lower than that in force in

most pai;ts. of New Zealand, it was

animously resolved to adopt the svale, the same to come into operation forthwith. It was resolved that the branch meet quarterly, and the members undertook to give clinics and papers for discussion on the study and practice of dentistry. A vote of thanks and appreciation to flip retiring President and to the Secretary was carried. The meeting terminated with a vote of thanks tp the chair.
