A party of Sinn Feiners raided a large garage at Cork, seized a number of motor cars, blind-folding the garage mechanics, and keeping them in a field tluoughout the night while Sinn Feiners attacked the police barrack’s of'Blarney. The police resisted for to h(,iurs, until a Hying column of soldiers arrived and put the Sinn Feiners to flight. FURTHER SINN FEIN ATTACKS. LONDON, June 3. A series of determined attacks on police barracks were made in Ireland yesterday. Two hundred men attacked , Clung Barracks in King’s County, with | rifles and bombs for two hours, shattering the walls. The police refused several demands for surrender, and eventually repulsed the raiders,w ho, in addition to the usual impediments on tlt(e' roads and 'cutting of telephone wires, tore up the railway in a number of places. Raidfirs at ‘ Fenit, a few miles from Tralee in County Kerry, penetrated two bouses adjoining tne police barracks, scattered the petrol and ignited the buildings. They then opened fire, lasting two hours.

The battleship Valiant and Warspitc have arrived at Devonport from Lough Foyle, and nre embarking 1,200 marines i for Queenstown, also a battalion of a Devonshire regiment. t

A DARING ATTACK. LONDON, June 1. A sensational 'affair occurred at King’s Inn, Henrietta Street, Dublin. About fifty Sinn Feiners' surprised twenty-five soldiers guarding an inn and deprived them of their arms and ammunition and two machine guns. The sentry was surprised to get the word of command “hands up” and promptly obeyed and was deprived.of bis rifle The Sinn Feiners then darted to the guardroom and overpowered the soldiers covering twenty four with revolvers. The party escaped in motor cars telling the soldiers to remain where they were at least ten minutes, or they would be shot. The raiders were loudly cheered as they left, by a crowd which had assembled outside the inn. Police and soldiers are now scouring Dublin *n search of the raiders. ,

MORE RAIDS. LONDON, June 2. , Raiders attacked Queenstown, naval station, igniting and destroying portion of the buildings. Other raiders destroyed five coast guard stations on the south coast. The defence of these stations is difficult owing to their isolated positions. It is believed in some quarters that attacks on them are connect-* ed with Sinn Fein plans to land war material.
