(Per Press Association.) , DUNEDIN, May 13. i A meeting of the Women's Citizen’s | Association resolved: ‘‘That this repre-I j sentative meeting of various women’s | associations of Dunedin pledge themselves to refrain from purchasing any > goods (with the exception or absolute necessities) for six months, or until such time as the present prices c-onie down, or the supply is more equal to the demand, and that we urge all women to compete with us to this end.” It was also decided to hold a mass meeting for women only, and to ask permission to use the main street for a, one day campaign, for securing signatures'to refrain from (buying. A resolution is also to be forwarded to the Government asking assistance to control the price of local industries.
