In the singles, New South Wales won six rubbers, sixteen sets, 132 games, and Victoria six rubbers, twelve sets, 129 games. In the doubles New South Wales won five rubbers, eleven sets 107 games and Victoria four rubbers, twelve sets, ’.O games.

The doubles included a- great struggle between Peach and North and Brookes and Heath, which the former couple won.

The AH England Lawn Tennis Association has consented to hold a championship here for 25 years; also Davis Cup matches. The new ground thus becomes the national quarters of lawn tennis’. 'Hie ground is expected to be ready in 1922 and will cost probably £7,500.
