Dalgety and Company Limited, Welngton, have received a cablegram
from their London Office under date of 27th. February, reading as follows :
"Wool iSaJ.es closed very fiirm for Wools of fine quality—for coarse wools prices are irregular. Home trade, Am. erican and French buyers are buying freely. As compared with last sale’s closing rates, best greasy merino combing wools arc from 5% to 10% higher, greasy merino wools of other descriptions par to 5% higher, scoured merino combing par to 5% higher, short faulty scoured wools unchanged, fine X bred wools unchanged, medium Xbrcd wools par to 5%, lower, coarse Xbrcd wools neglected, and slipe Kbred wools 74% lower.
