18. In the third round, Henderson 22, beat Buchan 1.8; Blackwood 29, beat Rose 20; Panckliurst and Williams also won. In the pairs competition in the first round Blackwood 20, beat Woods 17; Buclum 18, beat Wilson 16; Panckburst 21 ,beat Baldwin 20; Henderson 19, beat Kelly 2; Buck 12, beat Tomkies 9; Williams 19. beat Wicken 13; Strothers 16, beat Boys 14; Cooper 19, ' boat Bartlett 9.
