AMUSEMENTS.

“THE HANDIES.” PRINCESS THEATItE TO-NIGHT. At the Princess Theatre to-night under the management of Mr John Hopkins, “The Dandies of 1920” will open a two nights’ season. “The Dandies of 1920” are said to be the best combination of artists in the musical comedy line yet assembled. Mr George Sharratt, who is the comedian of the company, and also the producer is an English performer whose work is said to be very finished and at all times acceptable. Miss Annette Lang, another English artist who has been specially engaged for the present tour, is described as a soubrette and dancer whose performance is characterised by much artistry. In her individual numbers, also in association with Mr Sharratt, Miss Lang never fails to please.. Mr Raymond Nicholson is a tenor who has gained his experience on the musicalcomedy and comic opera stage. These artists, in'association with Miss Christina Andrews, soprano; Miss Madolin Knight, contralto; and Mr Renn Millar, basso, will supply an excellent programme. The box plan is open at Misses Mclntosh’s. There will be a complete change of programme on Saturday evening, when the season will be concluded.
