SANATORIUM TROUBLE. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 2. Something like a strike has occurred at Cashmerp Military Sanatorium. The soldier patients have given notice that in future they will not carry out indoor fatigue duties. A deputation waited on Dr Thacker M.P.. this evening and stated their grievance, which was having to do fatigue duty indoors. They had given ten days’ notice but no change was effected. They had to look after their meal-washing-up. No meals were served to them. Thirty-eight of them, therefore came to the city and got a meal. Dr Thacker wired Sir Janies Allen asking that something be done to deal with the men’s case.
