The weather was overcast, but remained fine. Tile tote receipts amounted to £60,887 10s, making a grand total of £132,267 for the meeting. Results : Moana Handicap— Formalin 1, Admiral Advance 2, Winsome Arch 3. Won by lengths; time 1.32 4-5. Hack Hurdles.—Oakleigli 1, Te Ton 2, Lady Bruce 3. Won by five lengths: time 2.54.
Suburban Handicap.—Prince Chareloi 1, King Abbey 2, King Lupin 3. AVon by three-quarters of a length ; time 1.4 '4-5. Jockey Club Handicap.—First Salute I, Taimai 2, Tinopai 3. After the running of the Takapuna Hurdle Race, the Stewards met and fined E. Warner, (rider of Oakleigh) £lO for crowding Slowcoach going out of the straight.
