The Prime Minister announced to-day that the writs for 1 both the Maori and European elections would be issued on November 28tli. Nominations for Euro pean elections will close on December 6th, and for the Maori elections on Bth December. Polling day for the European elections wall be the 17th December and fo rtlie Maori elections, 16tli December.
Writs are returnable. for the European elections on 26th December, and for the Maori elections bn 9th January.
