The Governor-General and Countess of Liverpool will leave Wellington on Thursday next for the purpose of paying farewell visits to Picton, Blenheim, Nelson, Westport,' Reefton, Greymouth, Hokitika, Bluff, Invercargill and Queenstown. Afterwards they proceed to Christchurch, where they expect to arrive about December 9th., and wher e they go into residence for several weeks. I * FOUND DEAD. WELLINGTON, This Day. A man’s body was found yesterday on the slopes of Mount Victoria. He believed to be a hospital patient named Davis, who wandered from the institution on Friday and apparently died from exposure, as there are indications that h e camped in the vicinity where the body was found.
