. HARI HARI SPRING SALE. The annual spring sale at the above yards was held on Saturday last, the yarding comprised 250 head of cattle and one pen of sheep. There was a good attendance of buyers, and keen competition or good forward stores, of which there was a very limited supply. Good forward ,2 year steers made to £lO ss*. Smaller and not so good mads from £6 10s to £8 15s. Calves, yearlings and old cows were not in keen demand and sold at reduced figures fompnred with former sales. The following sales were made by W.’ Jeffries and Co. :
On account Mr H. H. Adamson, pen breeding ewes at 37s Gd; on account Mr 0. Glass 1 cow at £8 17s.Gd, 2 heifers at £7, 1 steer at £4 10s; on account Mr Jno. Manera 18 steers at £8 ss, 9 heifers at £5 155.; on account of Mr J. McKay 1 heifer at £9, 3 cows at £4 17s Gd; on account Mr A. Wall 15 steers at £lO 15s; on account Mr Jos, McLean 12 steers at £8 15s; on account Mr G. McMillan 2 steers at £6 17s Gd, 1 bull at £6 16s, 4 cows at £5 10s; on account Mr G. Linklater 16 steers at £7 10s, G heifers at £6 10s, lat £5, 11 steers at £4 17s Gd; on account Messrs Manship Bros., 8 cows at £7 12s Gd; on account Mr P. Hansen 1 heifer at £8 7s Gd, 1 cow at £7 2s Gd ; on account Messrs Graham Bros. 9 cows at £6, 8 calves at 355; on account Mr AY. Thiele 2 cows at £5 15, 2 calves at 355; on account Mr B. J. Sim 11 blks at £7 10s; on account Mrs J. Johnstone 1 mare at £lO.
