The Minister of Defence, who has Keen trying to arrange to secure for New Zealand soldiers in Egypt and Palestine opportunities to see the Home country, before returning has received advice from tho War Office and the Minister of Shipping in the United Kingdom that It may he difficult to comply with the request owing to lack of shipping facilities for their transport. These soldiers may have to come direct from Egypt unless they are willing to submit to a long delay before repatriation.
