The whole afternoon sitting of the House was taken up with a discussion on Mr Parry’s report on the hydroelectric power schemes for the North Island, which the Minister of Public Works laid on the table. The Aviation Bill was read a second time.
In Committee on the War Legislation Jlill, which passed the Committee stage, Hon. W. F. Massey stated a communication bad been received irom the Imperial authorities expressing the hope that Now Zealand would be represented at the Peace Conference, and that Hon Massey and Sir Joseph Ward would he ready to sail almost immediately. The House rose at 6.50 p.m. till 2.30 p.m. next day. THE COUNCIL. GREYMOUTH, This Day. The Legislative Council continued the debate on the Address-in-Reply, Hons. Paul, Thomson and Topi Paluki addressing the Council.
